Marcelle Beaulieu

Marcelle Beaulieu is a political communicator, writer, and researcher with deep roots in Louisiana and a lifelong commitment to justice, public engagement, and civic education. As Director of Communications for School Board Partners, she brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of policy, politics, and storytelling—crafting narratives that shift public perception, influence legislation, and empower communities.
Marcelle’s background includes teaching high school, English as a Second Language, and serving as an adjunct professor in Political Science, Latin American Studies, and Spanish. She also spent eight years in academic research, five years in the Louisiana Legislature, and five years building public-facing digital campaigns that have generated more than 19 million organic impressions and spurred thousands of actions—from voting to advocacy. She is the founder of Turtle Analytics, a political messaging firm rooted in equity and community voice.
Marcelle holds a Ph.D. in Latin American Studies from Tulane University and a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Mississippi. Her work is grounded in research, strategy, and an unwavering belief in the power of people to drive lasting change.
In her role at School Board Partners, Marcelle brings together her experience as a teacher, policy expert, and community advocate to support school board leaders and amplify their impact across the country. She believes deeply that education—in all its forms—is the foundation for transformative change.
She lives in New Orleans, where she enjoys gardening and watching the sunrise.
